restorative detox 21 day challenge feb 8th-28th

When you think of detoxing you probably think of juice cleansing or even fasting.  Detoxing is so much more than that, it includes not only food, but also exercise, quality of sleep, water consumption, cleaning and beauty products as well, even social media, and the list goes on.

Jodi and Melissa are now the health and wellness advocates for Fuel Training Studio and  we are running a 21 day Restorative Detox starting February 8. During the challenge, we will guide you to be accountable and become your own advocate in navigating your health. We believe that detoxing means energizing your life by making choices that fuel you and reducing choices that drain you.

Throughout the challenge, you will receive informational emails and texts, as well as the opportunity to communicate with us through these platforms. We will host motivating accountability zoom calls, share tips on how to implement a healthy exercise regimen, including rest days. We will help you learn to eat a whole foods based diet, without feelings of guilt and the pressure to “start over”,  In addition, we will offer  ways to help you replace toxic and harsh cleaning and beauty products.. The program will implement strategies to manage stress, such as practicing gratitude, meditation, mindfulness and positive talk. 

Detoxing your life means  much more than just a juice cleanse or clean eating. It’s about removing harmful materials, just as much as replenishing with beneficial materials that support your overall health and well being. It’s about looking to gain greater awareness around your daily habits in an effort to make more conscious and informed decisions.  You will learn to choose whole foods, maintain a healthy exercise routine, choose clean household cleaning products, as well as beauty products. Learn how to deal with stress with many different techniques, including a social media break.

Emails will be distributed throughout the 21 day challenge, topics pertaining to detox, body, mind, household etc. In each email there will be some sort of challenge to complete.  We will also talk about the importance of physical activity and give them guidelines to help them choose their food wisely, 90/10 philosophy. You will have full access and accountability to Melissa and Jodi via text(set times) and email in addition to the regularly scheduled meetings.

On the day of the last meeting on February 28th, you will have access to a free yoga class streaming all the way from Melbourne, Australia. The zoom link will be sent to you 15 minutes before the class begins.

Melissa O’Brien

Melissa has been a massage therapist and fitness instructor for over 24 years. Her love for health and nutrition has always been a priority throughout her life. She is passionate about motivating, inspiring and empowering people to achieve their wellness goals. She knows first hand, that achieving optimal health is not just focusing on the foods that you put on your plate, but also finding ways to nourish yourself through relationships, spirituality, career, environment and so much more.    

Melissa has a Bachelor of Science degree, attended Northeast Institute of Whole Health for Massage, received certification as an Educator of Infant Massage. She is certified in Weight Training, Personal Training and is a Certified Spin instructor. Melissa recently attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and is now a Holistic  Wellness and Nutrition Health Coach. Most importantly, she is a wife and a mother of three and understands the challenges to find time for “you”, while maintaining a healthy home environment.

Health coaching has become a passion of hers, helping clients with guidance and accountability to reaching a vibrant life, while cultivating positive health and lifestyle choices, along with behavior adjustments. Melissa’s mission is to be a supportive mentor who helps clients feel their best through food and lifestyle changes, while providing one-on-one encouragement and becoming an essential and integral part of clients overall health and well being.

Jodi Field 

As a certified Integrative Nutrition Holistic Health and Wellness Coach, Jodi offers a safe and supportive space for all ages and fitness levels.  She specializes in issues related to chronic illness and auto-immune deficiency. Having overcome her own chronic health issues, she is both personally and professionally aware of the many unique challenges a chronic health condition can impose on emotional and physical wellness.
