We are all on some level creatures of habit, right? We have our routines generally speaking. We know what we like to eat, what we do for exercise, and generally how we spend our days. Doing something you have never done before can be super scary because it is uncharted territory for us. Seriously though, put your hand up if you have tried something unfamiliar, gotten uncomfortable...hands were shaking, the heart was pumping then you took the leap and felt great after. We always learn something from this kind of experience. This leap may take some encouragement may be from family, a good friend, or just a little pep talk with ourselves. Once we get over that hump we usually feel excited or successful, right? That something could be making a shift at your job, it could be taking a class you have never taken before or it could be as simple as trying a new recipe or food. Take a little lean in to something new, something maybe a little uncomfortable.
