Get ready to build strength, track progress, and challenge yourself in our March 8-Rep Lifting Challenge! This month-long challenge is designed to help you increase your lifting power in key upper body movements while keeping you accountable and motivated.
Each participant will receive a Lifting Challenge Card to track their progress over 8 workout days. You’ll start by recording your benchmark weights for the following exercises:
Biceps Curls (starting weight: ___ lbs)
Triceps Extensions (starting weight: ___ lbs)
Chest Press (starting weight: ___ lbs)
Back Single Arm Row (starting weight: ___ lbs)
How It Works:
CARD:
The card will include the exercises to be performed each time you execute your 8 rep day.
You will record your numbers on your card every other day. That gives you 14 opportunities to try to increase your baseline rate.
Watch your strength improve as you increase your weights over time!
By the end of the challenge, see how much stronger you’ve become!
WHEN SHOULD I DO MY 8 REPS:
You will have the opportunity to perform 8 reps during some specific classes that allow the format to be included. Otherwise you will be doing your 8 reps right before or after class. Don’t worry it is only 8 reps so you won’t be over training if you go to class right after!
All cards will be left at the studio and if you choose to display yours you can!
Goal: Push yourself to lift heavier while maintaining good form and consistency!
