I moved to Nbpt for 3 years ago and am actually a South Shore transplant…
a rarity around here!
I first got my degree in Economics at Wheaton College in 2006. I later made a huge career change and went back to school at MGHIHP to get my bachelors in nursing in 2015.
I live in town with my husband, who is a lieutenant on the Boston fire department, and our two boys. My 7yo is at the Bres and my 5yo is in pre-K. They are silly, playful, happy little boys who always keep me on my toes!
I am an oncology nurse at the MGH Cancer Center in Danvers. I give chemotherapy and other infusions. It can be tough, but I love connecting with my patients and supporting them through their cancer journey.
I’ve been at Fuel two and a half years and I love it. The variety of classes, opportunities to challenge yourself, the support and camaraderie are amazing! And the Fuel run club in 2023 turned me into a runner, which is not something I EVER thought I’d say! I’ve since done two half marathons and look forward to doing more!
I rode a camel in the dessert, have been shark cage diving, scuba diving and ski diving. A volunteer trip at an orphanage in South Africa was a turning point in my life and prompted me to give up a very successful career in finance to pursue nursing, a decision that I will never regret! My adventurous spirit has taken a back seat to being a mom these days, but I wouldn’t have it any other way 😊
Come join me on Tuesday Nights at 5:30 pm for some Tabata!
